EXCLUSIVE: SPECIFIC CONTRIBUTION BY LEADING NEO-NAZI TO RON PAUL CAMPAIGN IDENTIFIED

by LST Staff | 10/25/2007 4:59 pm | Alert moderator

LONESTARTIMES.COM EXCLUSIVE!!!

Must credit LoneStarTimes.com!!!

That means YOU, mainstream media producer/reporter/outlet!

————————-

A LoneStarTimes.com investigation has conclusively established that a leading figure in the American neo-Nazi / White-Supremacist movement has provided financial support to Ron Paul’s 2008 Presidential campaign.

The individual in question is Don Black, the founder, owner and operator of Stormfront, a “white power” website that both professional journalists and watch-dog groups have identified as the premier English-language racist/hate-site on the Internet.

Previous LST posts have focused on banner “widgets” appearing on the front-page of Stormfront. It is important to emphasize that these are NOT “advertisements” placed on Stormfront BY the Paul campaign, but rather publicly-available graphics that Stormfront’s owner has chosen to place himself, with links directly to Paul’s donation page.

Nevertheless, LST has in the past several weeks raised a series of questions for the Paul campaign; specifically–

1.       Can Paul confirm that the donation widgets appearing on Stormfront are the result of the site owner’s actions, not the campaign’s?

2.       Will Paul take measures to block Stormfront as a referring URL to his own website, so that no future donations can possibly flow into his campaign from a site that serves as the on-line nexus of neo-Nazism?

3.       Will Paul ask his own web-staff to trace past donations that were made by anyone arriving at his campaign’s webpage from Stormfront, so that these contributions can be rejected?

4.       Will Paul explore if there are any legal actions available to try to remove his donation widget from Stormfront, and if so pursue them?

5.       At the very least, will Paul personally state publicly, vigorously and unmistakably that he rejects the support of white supremacists, and that he will not knowingly tolerate their involvement with his campaign in any form or to any degree?

LoneStarTimes.com’s managing editor Matt Bramanti left multiple messages last week for officials in Paul’s national campaign press office seeking comment. None were returned.

In the interim, a number of grassroots supporters of Paul’s campaign– including many honorable and regular readers of LST– have argued that…

These abstract debates are now moot– a contribution to the Paul campaign by a known white-supremacist has been identified.

The evidence is as follows:

In light of these facts, we believe our previously asked questions continue to have merit.

A final note– it is traditional in political campaigns for candidates to return contributions from “toxic” donors once sufficient public scrutiny and outcry has been generated.

The difficulty in this instance is that if Ron Paul returns these funds to Mr. Black, all he will have done is given a neo-Nazi $500 more dollars with which to spread his psychotic bile.

We would therefore like to suggest that the Ron Paul campaign donate Black’s $500 to any of the following worthy recipients–

We try to be helpful.

If he’s willingly accepting support from the anti-war hard left (like Code Pinkos) and Troofers, why wouldn’t he accept support from Stormfront’s neo-Nazi crowd? He’s not being very selective about who he drags in when he casts his net.

He would. Check out the link. You take the votes where you get them.

Why do Muslims and Americans need to vote for Ron Paul?

Just to make it clear in response to a load of e-mails I've received, Jews are our cousins and brothers in faith. Just because Israel is a terrorist state does not mean Muslims are anti-semetic for denouncing it as a corrupt US-backed Zionist entity. Zionists are not all Jewish by the way.

The only so-called clash between Jews and Muslims occurred in recent history when the West created it. Before that, we coexisted in peace. In fact, there was even a time when Muslims RULED OVER Jews and Christians. Under this rule the Jews were so well accepted in society that Jewish religious, cultural, and economic life blossomed. This time period has been coined the Golden Age for Jewish culture.

But on the other hand.. they Idiots on Stormfront (over the top crazy people in my opinion) have every right to donate to a candidate of their choice. They have picked Ron Paul.

The funny thing is, is that skinheads and NeoNazis probably voted for Bush in 2000 and 2004. How do you know? Well, I'm sure the old ladies working at the polling stations interviewed each and every person & asked them what their beliefs were. NOT

Even if he did, that still wouldn't satisfy the Paul haters. This story will be debunked by the end of the weekend anyway. But yes, Dr. Paul does need to come out with a condemnation of left-wing and white supremacist groups that are trying to hijack his campaign.

BS, the campaign has been asked, they refused to condemn the support. You know that perfectly well.

He's no Ronald Reagan as everyone here knows.

Might he eventually, if it's in his interest.

This is no surprise...Paul’s followers are dropping away from FR and thats good news. But a few are still hanging around.
It’s hard to understand that in this day in age we still have scum like Paul and his followers pretending to be decent folks.

I already told you that if Paul knowingly received any money from white supremacists or anti-war kooks, then he should denounce them and return the money. He doesn’t need their money anyway since most of his funds are coming in from individuals unaffiliated with politics anyway. But whatever. Your mission is to take down Paul, if you choose to accept it and apparently you already have, by using guilt-by-association and other thread-the-needle tactics so disingenuous that it would make Democrats blush.

>> Why 5% of FR spends so much time focusing on someone polling at 1-2% in Republican primaries is seriously hilarious—and tragic at the same time.

ROFL!

I’ve noted more than a few ElRon posts that have been ... er... graced with YOUR presence, there, FRiend. ;-)

‘course, you basically root for him (minus his foreign policy), so you may have a hidden agenda which motivates you to rip on us for ripping on ElRon.

To each his own. I kinda like the “taunting the crazy man” aspect of ripping on Ron Paul... it’s a nice change from the “fighting pure evil” feel I get from ripping on Her Heinous.

This was said to be his campaigns statement a couple weeks ago when the issue first came up, said to because there is no solid source, just blogs.

The Paul campaign dismissed the pro-Paul activities among these groups. “We don’t know who these people are,” said Jesse Benton, Paul’s communications director. Their support has “nothing to do with Ron Paul, and what he stands for….His message of freedom, peace and prosperity - that’s why people support him.”

When they NY Times and Washington Post get on board, they'll be connecting this to Republicans, not Paul.

I don't think they'll waste their time. Why would they? Even non-Republicans will smell the BS about tying Republicans to white supremacists or racists. They've heard this song-and-dance every election. It definetly won't hurt Paul because he's already marginalized by both the MSM and mainstream conservatives anyway.

They're not going to respond to it overnight....hold your horses there, you'll get your answer sheesh.

What you say means nothing, what the campaign does means something.

Get his stinking column out ot the Citizens Informer, the Council of Conservative Citizens has been a problem for Republicans, and out of the American Free Press, no Republican I know of has been associated with them, other than Pat Buchanan's you can't kill Jews with diesel fumes column in the Spotlight in 1990 or so. And there was grief over that.

And condemn the places he gets support from. Like Ronald Reagan did.

In other words, stand up and at least pretend to be Presidential, and if it costs a few votes, that's life.

He should blow off the truthers too, then we'll see what's left.

This is how a President of character handles these things.

Mr. Nathaniel J. Friedman
August 23, 1980 Dear Mr. Friedman:

Just a line to thank you very much for your letter to the editor of the Los Angeles Times. It was kind and generous of you to do this, and I am most grateful.

It wasn’t until I left the South and was in New York that I learned the Klan had endorsed me. I immediately made it plain in a press conference that I do not want such an endorsement and that I repudiate it and everything the Klan stands for. I guess Mr. Young didn’t pay much attention to that.

Again, my heartfelt thanks.

Best regards,
Ron

-----------------

April 30, 1984

Dear Morris:

While in China, I have been distressed to learn that some individuals back home have questioned whether my views on the Ku Klux Klan have somehow changed since 1980. Nothing could be further from the truth.

In 1980, I said that I have no tolerance for what the Klan represents, and would have nothing to do with any groups of that type. If anything, my feelings on this subject have only grown stronger. The politics of racial hatred and religious bigotry practiced by the Klan and others have no place in this country, and are destructive of the values for which America has always stood. Those of us in public life can only resent the use of our names by those who seek political recognition for the repugnant doctrines of hate they espouse.

I firmly believe that there is no room for partisanship on this question. Democrats and Republicans alike must be resolute in disassociating ourselves from any group or individual whose political philosophy consists only of racial or religious intolerance, whose arguments are supported only by intimidation or threats of violence.

We must, and will, continue our unified rejection of such elements of hate in our political life, for while there are many issues which divide us, it is fundamental principles such as this which will always draw us together.

Sincerely,
Ronald Reagan

[The Honorable Morris B. Abram, U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, 1121 Vermont Avenue, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20425]

“I’m sure they’ll return the donations.”

I don’t recall you asking the MainStreet Republicans to return George Soros’ money.

I’m confident that the campaign will come out with a clear denouncement of these despicable groups latching onto Paul’s campaign by the end of this month.

Most posts I agree with Freepers on hence little reason to post what's already been posted. With Ron Paul, several freepers on here seriously get to the point where they act like liberals (throw away common sense, name call, act hysterically, etc). This is sad, as it seriously makes us no better than them. What makes it worse is that Ron Paul has NO support to get him even CLOSE to elected nationally. It seriously is one of the most illogical wastes of efforts by the supposed 'right' on here there could possibly be. These people are more scared of Ron Paul than Hillary or Osama. All 3 would pull out US Troops. Besides that, Ron Paul is nearly 100% conservative. In favor of scaling back gov't largess, against Roe Vs Wade, giving back states' rights, etc.

The name calling and just general lunacy of some of those posts directed at Ron Paul on here are seriously mis-directed. Anyone who fears libertarians more than Democrats is VERY misguided and IMO has no more belonging on this site than people who think Ron Paul is the savior of the Presidency.

Of course they wouldn't.

Haley Barbour, Trent Lott, Bob Barr were never criticized for hanging with the Council of Conservative Citizens, Paul hangs with them.

And the Jim Nicholson (RNC Chairman) never had to call out the COC as a racist group, and apologive for Republican connections.

There's a good chance it won't be an issue, but only because the media considers Paul an irrelevancy, a quirk they can't tie to the Republican Party or Republican values. Fortunately.
