What Rooty Toot NEVER wants to admit is that abortions fell nationwide during the 1990 at a rate of about 20%, which is much higher than the decline of 17% that Rooty claims for NYC.

Rooty’s claims of increasing adoptions are also hollow. The adoption rate has been going up dramatically for the past fifteen years or so. However, this is because it has gotten a lot easier to adopt babies from China and Eastern Europe. Rooty had nothing to do with this. The reality is that for all intents and purposes there aren’t any “unwanted” babies born in the United States — parents even want their babies or they are aborted.

We must stop Rudy from getting the GOP line. He is self destructing already.

Rudy must be stopped at the primary level. Don’t forget: according to a Republican pollster, Bill Clinton wanted to sign the bill to ban partial birth abortion - it was Hillary who stopped him. She is beyond “pro choice” - she is avidly pro abortion as the only option.

In fact, there are no unwanted babies conceived in this country. I once saw a pro-life sign that said, "Every baby is wanted by somebody", and the millions of couples waiting to adopt a newborn would certainly agree. Even babies with severe disabilities (the few that aren't eliminated in the womb) are adopted quickly once placed. The "unwanted" children we're always hearing about tend to be older children languishing in foster care, whose birth mothers - often drug addicts - won't relinquish them for adoption. Certainly this is tragic, but people who think more abortions would reduce these instances are fooling themselves.
