This is a disgrace. These Dems are lunatics. Appalling!!
In a report posted on the website Atlantic Free Press, Code Pink leader Medea Benjamin claims that a high-ranking Democrat staffer demanded the immediate release of the protesters who were arrested at yesterday's House hearing where Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice was assaulted by a Code Pink protester.
Benjamin, who was also arrested by Capitol Police outside the hearing room, wrote this morning that, "The Deputy Chief of Staff of the House Foreign Relations Committee contacted the Capitol Police later in the day to again relay that their (sic) is a policy of that committee to not arrest Citizen (sic) protesters but to instead escort them out of the room. The Deputy asked for the CODEPINK members to be released promptly from custody."
Code Pink has many allies in the Democratic majority who facilitate their illegal behavior. The assault by Code Pink on Sec. Rice crossed a line. That the Democrats demanded the immediate release of the Code Pink protesters is an appalling abuse of power and an insult to Sec. Rice.

...here is a reply from one of my stupendous Senators:...I've had similar experiences. Staffers of liberal congresscritters never address substantive arguments from conservative constituents. They just send you the approved boilerplate response on the subject.
Actually, now that I think about it, staffers of conservative congresscritters usually do the same thing. These "response" letters are simply the propagation of the representative's/senator's position on the issue, without regard to what the constituent actually wrote.

I liked the sound of Rush’s last (Freudian) slip of the tongue—”Vice President Lynne Cheney.”

I was looking for that at the video store the other day. They didn’t have it, and had no idea what I was talking about.

I like Mrs. Cheney, she has a lot of class. We could do a lot worse for a VP for sure!

Even Bill Maher threw a 9/11 truther out of his audience...I saw that. Problem is, Maher needs to throw himself out, as well.

That’s sad. Were you allegedly helped by one of those Gen X’ers who have no concept of films made before “Star Wars”?

Pelosi is going to have a re-vote today on the S-CHIP veto override, without the CA legislators. What?!? Doesn't she realize that will mean fewer Dems will be voting?

Maher needs to throw himself out, as well. Yep, I was wondering why he didn't throw Sheila Jackson Lee(sp?) off his panel at the same time!!
