The more government gets involved in healthcare, the more corrupt it will become.

bttt. It sure lends credence to claims of corruption in the State of Florida. At least we have an attorney general in Florida now who has integrity, Bill McCollum. Crist our current liberal RINO governor would have not bothered while he was Florida’s Attorney General - too much work for Charlie Crist to do actual AG work.

The more government gets involved in
anything the more corrupt it will become--both the government and the
anything.
The reason the politicians want higher taxes, more money, more power, more everything is not because "they care". It's because they want money, power, and everything.
Power corrupts collectively as well as individually. The more powerful government is, the more corrupt it is.
This is junior high school stuff, but millions of Americans just can't seem to get it. They think those politicians in Washington are "looking out for the little guy" and "wanting to give back". Anybody who buys this hogwash is a moron.

Is my memory off, or do I remember WellCare being brought up during Terri’s story?

My bad. Ignore #6. It was Terri’s case, WellCare was investigated for viatical scams. I saw that name well making my Russian Organized Crime thread.

“For his six months service on WellCare’s board, Agwunobi received stock, which he sold for more than $1-million. “
Follow the money. Sure Wall Street was scratching its head trying to figure out how the company was making so much money. But in the end, no one cared. You do not get rich off of govt health plans if you are following the rules.

WellCare's business practices have come under increased criticism over the past several months. Last spring, the company said independent sales agents in Georgia enrolled dead people in Medicare plans...

What I'm interested to find out which is highly unlikely in the climate of coverup here, who the federal officials were who received money? If they were federal judges, maybe it did have to do with Terri. You might not be off base after all.
I'm still waiting for Terri whistleblowers to start coming forward who can't stand keeping such a terrible secret about what really happened to her in Florida.

Tampa FBI raid ping. I need to re-read and see if any hospices are named in the article.

Might be. I just wanted to correct where I heard WellCare from.
Viaticals are mostly scammed through hospices and retirement type facilities.

The Federal Court in Tampa defied Congress and the Prez refusing to hold a "make new" de novo hearing re: Terri.
Judge James Whittemore, friend to strip club king Joe Redner, avowed atheist. Joe Redner attended Terri's first hearing in Whittemore's courtroom. It must have been amusing for him to watch his friend engage in corruption.
