Please pray on this day, and every day, for our Patriot Armed Forces standing in harm's way around the world in defense of our liberty, and for the families awaiting their safe return.
Love the dinner menu. :D YUM-O
I’m off to dreamland.
Biff on the pole, DJ third, Jr 5th. WOW
Any bets on how many laps before he loses it?
Rusty is not that unpredictable. I would say the first Areo Push will come soon. Or were you talking about SW...
LOL, yeah, I was talking about the younger one.
I was right on the pic of the test car.
(ON THE RETURN OF THE NO. 5 ALL-STAR RACING CHEVROLET.): “It’s really exciting for me because that car got it all started. This was totally Dale Jr.’s idea. He loves the older stuff — the history — and he wanted to paint it up like our first car with All-Star Racing and City Chevrolet on it. It brings back some old memories, and I’m just honored that he wanted to do it. I can’t wait to see that car on the track. His dad (Dale Earnhardt Sr.) was one of the guys we talked to about driving the car, so it’ll be pretty special to see the Earnhardt name on the roof.”
HENDRICK: (ON THE IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNICATION AT THE ATLANTA TEST.) “It’s going to be really important. The sooner we can get Dale Jr. in one of our cars to see how it rides, how it drives, the power of the motor — all of that is critical. Tony Eury Jr. and the engineers, they’ve been working together already, but getting on the track and having everyone understand what Dale Jr. wants is important. Same with Alan (Gustafson) and Casey (Mears). They’ll be working to build that chemistry on the radio and learning to make adjustments. When they (the Nos. 5 and 25 teams) get back, they’ll be able to share all that information with the other teams (the Nos. 24 and 48). This is an important test for the No. 5 and the new No. 88, getting a jump on next year. For the organization, it’s about learning as much as we can about the Impala SS on an intermediate track.”

HAMPTON, Ga. — Steve Hmiel was introduced Friday as manager of competition for Chip Ganassi Racing — and made no bones about why he made the move from Dale Earnhardt Inc.
A 30-year veteran in the sport who has been a part of multiple championship teams, Hmiel said he grew tired of NASCAR’s new-school mentality where multi-car operations prevail and corporate bigwigs make decisions from corner offices in major metropolitan cities instead of tracks. Today, Hmiel said, it’s difficult to “locate the guy who actually owns the place.”
“At Chip Ganassi, you can make a phone call to Chip and say, ‘Hey ...’ It’s the comfort of being able to contact the owner at any time,” Hmiel said.
“Some people walked away, some people dropped out, some people lost faith and I had an opportunity to do some other things where it was a little bit smaller, a little bit more personal.”
Hmiel will oversee the day-to-day operations — building the cars — whereas director John Fernandez will focus on long-term strategic planning. Both Hmiel and Fernandez will report directly to Chip Ganassi.

Oh My Goodness! Have y’all seen the Q points we did not score in the league. I guess I’m not the only one using up my drivers and having to use the motor home drivers.
I off to work until early afternoon...

Definitely a miracle. God bless him.
Dario running third in the Busch race which has been filled with cautions. Krisiloff was parked by Nascar and sent home. I missed it, but obviously aggressive driving.
He’s second now. WooHoo!!
36 spun by 77, 36 follows him to pitroad and nudges him then blocks him before heading to his pit. He will serve a two lap penalty for that. :)
I think we’re up to caution 15, I was washing dishes. Opie/Eddie in this one.
Cousin Carl is Cussin his Competitors...
:D Dario just got through there.
They are going to have 22-24 cautions by the time they finish this one.
