Drudge vs. TNR: Early Wednesday afternoon, the Drudge Report posted a red-letter item about the controversy surrounding the New Republic's "Baghdad Diarist," Scott Beauchamp. Beauchamp is a soldier serving in Iraq whose dispatches telling of outrageous behavior by U.S. troopsbelittling a woman scarred by an IED, wearing a skull fragment from the remains of a child found in one of Saddam's mass graves, and intentionally trying to kill dogs with armored vehiclescame under intense scrutiny from conservative bloggers over the summer. TNR issued a statement on Aug. 10 saying it was investigating the veracity of the reports but hasn't commented since.
Drudge, promising to reveal that TNR's " 'SHOCK TROOPS' STORY COLLAPSES," originally posted three PDF files, the first two of which consisted of a transcript of a phone conversation from Sept. 7 involving Beauchamp, TNR editor-in-chief Franklin Foer, TNR executive editor Peter Scoblic, and others. In it, Beauchamp at first refused to cooperate with TNR to help defend the veracity of his articles, saying that he just wanted the whole affair to go away, despite being told that TNR couldn't defend his reporting if he didn't defend it himself.
The final PDF contains what appear to be official Army memorandaand a document signed by Beauchamp acknowledging that he'd received a "Memorandum of Concern".from the Army. (Is this a confession by Beauchamp? At the National Review's Corner, a lawyer says no.)

I don' have days to look into it ... it looks like another 'fake but accurate' reporter ... and The New Republic is facilitator.
I thought this had been debunked weeks ago.
But what's new is Drudge's evidence that TNR had spoken to Beauchamp, and urged him not to talk to other media, even while they claimed the army wasn't allowing him to communicate. This is evidence that TNR was stonewalling, despite their promises not to do so. It doesn't add much to the actual Beauchamp side of the story.

ooooo....just another example of what Saul Alinsky has taught the LEFT in this country....ACCUSE your opponent of what YOU are doing!! The New Republic was saying that the MILITARY wasn’t allowing Scott the LIAR to talk with the media, when it was TNR ALL ALONG who wouldn;t let Scott the LIAR to talk to the media!!! It’s called PROJECTION, I believe.
It was, but TNR has still not admitted that the stories were complete fabrications. Their claim that Beuachamp's stories had been fact checked has also been shown to be false. TNR has recently been saying that the military was preventing Beauchamp from speaking to the press, yet another lie
LFG has links to the three leaked documents here. The validity of those documents has not yet been confirmed, but Charles Johnson, who runs LGF, seems to think they are legit.

Agreed, however it goes much further back. Check out the Frankfurt school and where it extended its influence. Most of the "Social Marxist" ideas originate from this dirt pile. As I understand the school (think tank)was started to figure out why in WWI people rallied around their flag and not around their "class". It was decided that the idea of Nationalism had to be eliminated and they began to develop techniques to accomplish this. I believe many of Alinsky's ideas are directly related to these original social Marxists.
Liberal media lying...boyoboy...I am glad I’m sitting down...who’d a thunk it??
They can ALL kiss my *ss in Macy’s window.

Dhimmicrat Shill / New Baghdad Bob scandal sure got buried fast, didn’t it? Meanwhile, the MSM is attempting to Katrina the Republicans somehow — despite the fact that the MSM’s own political party, the one they shill for, controls both houses of Congress.
