It’s Natural Law.

Homosexuals are sexually dysfunctional and they can only reproduce by abusing technology.

How many other primates species are there where homosexuals procreate? Zero.

Robert Redford is correct: Rome is burning.

>I still don’t get it

Lots of folks never
realized how popular
Kirk/Spock fantasies

became among fans.
That sort of made slash fiction.
If you Google search

the words "Smallville slash"
the results will amaze you.
Even beyond slash,

the show strikes a chord
(somehow) with 'normal' viewers
who see something more--

------------------------------------------------------

"But somehow, despite having what is arguably the worst scripts ever, hubby and I tune in faithfully to Smallville every week during the first season. We aren't Superman fans. If truth be told, this show is simply the gayest show ever, surpassing even Star Trek in the slash quotient. Lex Luthor and Clark Kent's interactions in this show are simply screaming for a marriage to formalize their love story, while Chloe and Lana aren't above emanating lesboerotic tensions. Hubby can dream of Lana and Chloe getting it on, I can dream of Lex and Clark getting it on. Now that's democracy. Smallville has corrupted two innocent fuddy-wuddy senior citizens and it's all their fault, not ours. Kids, if you're reading this, your Mommy and Daddy are helpless thralls in face of the Slash Goodness Onslaught that is Smallville. ..."

You sent me into a coughing fit I was laughing so hard!

I didn't know how many would jump on the fact I would deign to disparage Smallville and then give an obscure STOS reference!

>I would ... give an obscure STOS reference!

How can anything
be "obscure" about Star Trek?!
It is, like, Scripture . . .

from (ick) the AP:

“The Italian birth rate is the lowest in the world. Once famous for its large families, Italy now has one of the lowest birthrates in the world — 1.2 children per woman, far beneath the level needed to replenish the population.

With deaths outstripping births, the number of Italians of working age is forecast to fall 40 percent by 2050, a demographic meltdown to rival the plague that swept Europe in the Middle Ages.

So why are Italians producing so few bambinos?

One reason, demographers say, is that giving birth out of wedlock remains taboo in this traditionally Roman Catholic country. At the same time, Italians are marrying much later, partly because the high cost of housing forces them to carry on living with their parents well into their 20s and 30s.

Yet the main reason for the birth dearth is the changing role of women.

In the past, Italian women expected to marry young and give birth to a large brood of children. Now they can live alone and pursue a career.

In Italy, though, combining motherhood with work is particularly hard, the experts say. Child care is expensive, family allowances are meager and part-time jobs are scarce. Some studies also show that Italian men are more reluctant than their northern European peers to share parenting and domestic chores.

The upshot is that, while most Italian women tell pollsters they want at least two children, many now settle for one or none at all.”

So Italy is doing all the politically correct things as touted by liberals, and live in a housing situation analogous to that found in most “blue state” cities: high cost of living, high rents, nowhere to live.

Now, encourage homosexuality, further diminishing the rate of reproduction.

Next step, replace the population with Muslim invaders, er, I mean, immigrants........

I’m currently a grade 12 student in Vancouver, Canada. Last year, when i was in grade 11, our local “Gay-Straight Alliance” hosted a “dignity & diversity” week at our school.

All the hallways were plastered with that very same poster, translated to English. These gay weeks are annual events. We also do that “day of Silence” bit.
And this club has a very strong presence at our school, due to the fact that one of the counselors and a quite a few teachers are openly gay and lesbian.
