Appears Google is aiding and abetting terrorist regimes by removing high resolution pictures of the suspected nuclear facility bombed by Israel.

But seriously- have you considered the possibility that the high-res images are being blocked before they get to Google? The US and Israeli governments would both have legit reasons to keep them under wraps.

In actual fact hi-res imagery is unavailable for the vast majority of the Earth on google maps. Even in the US most of the area outside of metro areas do not have hi-res imagery.
Google Earth does have the hi-res imagery so they are not doing a very good job of hiding this.

Yeah, I should have known that. I haven’t used Google Earth, but Mapquest photos for my city are much higher res than those of the boonies.
