She's also the kind of medicine the GOP and country need to turn it back to conservatism.
A Giuliani guarantees the GOP moves to the left. He guarantees no conservative in the White House until 2016. He likely guarantees Republicans remain in the minority in Congress for a decade. And, liberal Republicans always have an easier time getting liberal legislation passed.
Giuliani does far more long-term damage to conservatism. It may be 20 years before the conservative movement could recover from his Presidency.

Look, I'm not defending Rudy's record ... his track record on immigration issues (among others) is absolutely atrocious. But one cannot deny that NYC improved under his watch, and he really took it to the left wing press there. Yes, the White House is a lot different than Gracie Mansion, and Rudy knows it: that's why he continually repeats his promises to appoint constructionist judges, do border enforcement first, etc.
So, to turn your statement around, Rudy is *NOT* the anti-Christ. He may not be your first choice, nor is he my first choice, but he's a damned sight better than HER.
Thompson and Romney are fine for me. They have both done things in fields that are not elected positions. Thompson’s illegal alien plan is what we need. Romney’s plan to audit government agencies is what we also need. Remember the ‘Government Is Not God’ movement? It could return:)
