I agree. We ought to leave a big messy pile so they have lots to clean up. I see no reason why we should leave one thing there. Anything they could use should not left behind & smashed.

When we closed the DEW Line in Canada they sued us for “environmental reparations” to clean up the junk and spilled oil and empty cans and such- expect the same from Ecuador (or anyplace else) if we leave a mess when we leave.
You can’t go out and play until you clean up your room.
