30 years ago, in my freshman biology class, I was required to study and be tested on evolution. I was advised by other Christian students to answer the questions per the theory of evolution so as to show I’d studied and comprehended the topic, while still holding to my own creationist beliefs in my heart. I did so, and went on with my life.
Also, when my kids were little, I did NOT teach them to believe in Santa. I did, however, talk with them about how other children did believe Santa existed and that they were not to break the bad news to the other kids. So, they learned to know the truth within themselves but also to hold their peace with the other children.
Could these foster parents, perhaps, take a similar approach by exposing the child to “politically correct” theories but then helping the child know and comprehend the difference between humanistic lies and a true biblical world view?
In this day and age I’d think that’d just about be the only way any Christian believers could participate in foster care.

The world will need a good right wing fascist to cleanse humanity of the perverts who are growing more bold every day. Better a fascist who can control the cleansing than a French Revolution style where many heads will roll.

Disgusting. The government shouldnt be telling foster parents what they can and cant teach children.
Which government?

An interesting and thought-provoking post. We all have to make compromises in life, it seems.

Um, “taxation without representation” comes to mind. Supposedly, some would be happy with “representation without taxation.”

Umm...I really don’t under stand what you’re trying to get at as this relates to the story, or what I said in response.

Sieg heil, eh dude? The world would sooner need a cleansing of the perverted mindset as apparently expressed in your post.

Do you really want to tell the British how to conduct their own local affairs? If so, then be willing to accept how the British want to conduct yours. Me, I am grateful to live in a society ruled by laws instead of by capricious men.

No, but simply, I don't think it's right for any government to act this way. I think that's pretty easy to understand.

Thanks. Sigh. I guess we all pick our battles. It’s frustrating to hear of folks being “blackballed” for having a biblical world view.

At least the foster ones in Gaye Olde England. Of course they got to apply this equally. Wanna bet this stops once it gets the Mooselimbs into an uproar?
