Way to Go!!
Well THAT’S a little disconcerting!! I was just in Roswell a couple of weeks ago.
ping
In before DLR Ping.
Might of been aliens,too!
Dustin must be a strong man to survive getting beaten with a tire iron and also manage to get of a well placed shot.
I wish the article had a little info on Dustins wellbeing.
Good wishes for Dustins health.
Dustin Eoff
I thought that name sounded familiar.
Jack M. Eoff must be a relative.
Home town bump.
Roswell turned into a target rich environment since I was a kid.
The good fight continues!

One man is dead and another man and a juvenile face charges after the trio allegedly tried to rob a Domino's Pizza delivery man Friday night.
Roswell Police Department spokesman Travis Holley said Dustin Eoff, a pizza delivery man, was en route to making a delivery when he noticed another vehicle following him closely. When Eoff attempted to make the delivery, three men from the other vehicle allegedly attacked him with a tire iron and a knife.
Holley said Eoff managed to retrieve a gun from his car, which he used against the three subjects before fleeing the scene.
Holley said the RPD responded to a call about a gunshot at 9:53 p.m. Officers then responded to a call from Domino's Pizza staff at 2417 N. Main St. stating one of their delivery drivers had been in an incident.
One of the subjects who attempted to rob Eoff, 25-year-old Joe Ray Vrito of Roswell, died from gunshot wounds. The other subjects, a juvenile and Christopher Fresquez, 18, of 1405 S. Adams, have both been charged with armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and aggravated battery.
Holley said Fresquez and the juvenile did not have any injuries.
Eoff was found to be in violation of his probation for carrying a firearm.
"He was not charged in relation to the incident," Holley said. "It was determined he acted in self defense." However, although Eoff was not charged by the RPD, he will still have to answer to Probation and Parole.
Holley explained that in the state of New Mexico a person can carry a concealed firearm in his vehicle and that if Eoff had not been on probation, there would have been no charges against him.
Roswell? I’m surprised the delivery guy didn’t say, “They shouted greetings, and then wailed on me with the tire iron.” /obscure
I used to deliver pizzas and most of those pizza delivery companies have a policy against carrying weapons on your person or in your car. But it seems like pizza delivery guys are getting attacked more and more often.
