If I limited myself to voting only for someone who believes in everything I do, I would never be able to cast any vote in any election.
Let's face it, there will eventually be a Republican and a DemocRAT nominee along with some third party candidates. More than likely, only the Republican and DemocRAT will have a chance to actually win. When the general election comes around I can do one of three things:
Vote Republican
Vote DemocRAT
Vote third party/stay home (basically the same thing)
If the Dems were to run Thomas Sowell and the Pubs ran Barack Hussein Obama, then I would vote Dem, but if it's Rudy for the Pubs and Shrillary for the Dems, then Rudy gets my vote.
The primarys are for choosing who you want to be president, the general election is where you try to get the best of what's left.
