Maybe, just maybe, they'd learn that sort of thing would piss the vast majority of Americans off, rather than surrendering like they did in Spain... The change in policy? Sure, take "The Surge" and triple it!

The vast majority of Americans do not have any say in our foreign policies. Unfortunately that is left up to politicians and select campaign contributers.
