A lot of liberals are seriously screwed up. You can tell that by reading a conservative blog or forum, and then reading the ones on the left. It isn’t just that we disagree on the issues. There’s a whole different tone.

FreeRepublic, for example, is full of satire. DU is just filled with whining and hate. Conservatism is usually logical and coherent. Liberalism is emotional and shallow. Liberals are paranoid, obsessed, and generally screwed up. Most of them suffer from arrested emotional development.

...For the most part, we here on FR have civil disagreements when our conclusions differ...as for the DUmmies...when you throw immaturity on top of the emotion....you have a whining, fit throwing....teenager..

Not to say all the DUmmies fit the same mold, as does not all FReepers....but just perusing the sites makes it clear enough where the majority stand...

I found that out the hard way, years ago, by trying to have an intellectual discussion with a liberal. Of course, the intellectual part didn't last long and the name calling starting immediately. I'd rather wrestle with a pig than try to discuss anything with a liberal.

No fooling. Their brains are apparently permanently addled from the drugs they ingested during their hippie years in the 1960's and 1970's. Or... if they are the offspring of those hippies, they've all been "carefully taught to hate" (as per the song from Rodgers and Hammerstein's "South Pacific"). And I'm serious about that. Can you imagine having grown up as the flower child of 2 certifiably nutso flower children parents?

Accurate observation. ...and that's the most conspicuous difference between the two websites. Satire, wit, irony, and lighthearted banter are completely absent from leftist forums. ....even when the Donks are in power. An all-consuming anger and humorlessness prevails at all times.
