WASHINGTON (CNN) New York Rep. Charlie Rangel, a prominent supporter of Hillary Clinton, sharply criticized Republican presidential frontrunner Rudy Giuliani's personal life Monday, highlighting the fact that the former New York City mayor and his wife have each been married three times. "Two people, six spouses. It's a little complicated if you're not religious, especially if you're running against a Mormon," Rangel told CNN's Wolf Blitzer in a reference to Giuliani's chief rival, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney. For the record, Romney has only been married once. "I think America has to look at all these things, and there are enough moles on this man that embarrasses those of us who have sought public life," the 19-term New York congressman added. "When we get involved in public life, it means we're in a goldfish bowl. It would seem to me, with all the breaks the mayor had, being involved with his personal problems, he would thank God he's gotten as far as he did go without making the politicians get involved in his personal life." Rangel brushed aside the notion that criticizing Giuliani's personal life exposes Hillary Clinton to similar criticism. The former first ladys own marital troubles have been well documented. "You can say it over and over and over again. This woman got married [and] stayed married [to] the same husband. When they had problems, she stuck with him. You tell me what in her personal life is something she should be ashamed of, and I want to talk about it." Contacted by CNN, Giuliani spokeswoman Maria Comella said, "This kind of ugly, personal attack isn't even worth a response."

Yes I read the article you linked - it merely says he supported the war, not that he isn't a liberal.
Back to my point - you'd sell out and vote for anyone with an R without regard to anything he or she would do.
So if Hillary ran as a republican you'd vote for her.
That is just sad.
"Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!
Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire."
That's what Jesus REALLY said. Do you, for one moment, think Jesus would encourage you to "embrace" another's evil perverseness in the name of "love" when he hammered that sin is so devastating and damnable that ours' cost HIM his LIFE?
I think that posit of yours, as with others who've used the "love the sinner, hate the sin", is a dishonest attempt to ignore the destructive nature of sin.
The Al Sharpton Wing of NY’s Democrat Party has spoken.
I used to say I would vote for any R also Brad. The past few years have changed my opinion. Just claiming to be a Republican is not enough. I'm no longer willing to give my vote to anyone. That is why I am open to several Republican contenders, but refuse to vote for a liberal with an R by his name.
As hard as you try...you'll never find a BIGGER embarrassment than yourself, Loser:-(
It doesn't take very much at all to change party affiliation. Seeing so many "republicans" clamor to support Rudy is testament that many abandon principle over party and would the same for Clinton. To those, it's not about what the elected person will effect in the long-run that's worth consideration anymore - it's an appearance of "remaining true" to a party regardless whether that party's policy is on a track to self-destruct.
That is what's lead to the perverted policy of the Democrat party; too few stood up and said, "ENOUGH!" It's where the Republican party is also headed in L O N G strides.
I would like to see two additional parties in U.S. politics. Traditional conservatives and perhaps evangelicals could splinter off the Republicans into a third party. On the Democrat side, working people and Catholics need to splinter away from the socialists and elitists and start a labor party. The four parties could interact with each other on legislation when it was in their interests. You’d have four choices for president in the general election.
How clean does anyone think Charlie is? Whadda you want to bet that there are several mistresses and out-of-wedlock children out there. I'd be willing to bet that we're about to find out.
He must have been the cleanest Dem that they could come up with to undertake this task. We are likely about to be treated to a great deal of Democrat humor.
“No, Rangel, what embarrasses me is the President of the United States having a young Intern service him in the Oval Office.”
But it’s ok for a mayor to have his mistress service him while his family is sitting in the other room? At least Clinton didn’t have Monica move in with them after he got busted. Let’s not make any mistakes about this - Hillary was at her most popular DURING Clinton’s impeachment, because she was seen as a victim. We cannot afford to give her this issue again, especially when she has the whole “It was hard, but I believe marriage is important and I chose to stay with my husband” defense. What does Giuliani have?
We cannot, cannot, CANNOT afford to have this man as the Republican nominee.
Go climb a tree jerk.
You can go... I really don't care what you think, I never asked you...
The perverts can only think with their gonads. I do not want any more perverts near the White House. If Mrs. Clinton divorced Bill and married Giuliani, few would be able to tell the difference.
Considering that’s coming from Boss Hogg with a tan there, I’d consider that a badge of honor if I were Rudy.
