We heard from them last night. They finally found a place that would take them in. Some of the hotels are allowing pets now that this is a full fledged firestorm. Turns out Michael was on CNN talking about his hospital’s roll in treating some of the injured fire fighters and locals. He tried to slip back up the area nearby after the interview to check on his house (stupid) and of course they wouldn’t let him back up there.
Anyway, very relieved to hear they are not only safe but getting some rest. I don’t think their house will make it by some of the footage I’m seeing on the news this morning. Looks like hundreds have burned. Sad.
