Because those call-in type polls are not accurate and one person can vote many times.

Obviously, you don't know what you're talking about.

Fox News uses caller-ID on the text messaging calls and allows each phone just one vote. It was this way in the previous texting polling by FNC too. That's why it makes Vannity so mad when RP wins. They thought they could avoid spamming.

Oh really now...well maybe you should check this post out from his website:

It is easy.. our meetup has some tools that are pretty cheap. We use ipipi, you can send several thousand messages for about $100 and the best part is because it doesn't use phone numbers, it bypasses poll secuirty.

I won't go into more here, you can find info on the secure area the meetup sites (if it was posted for your meetup group) so you can use this.

The problem with text-messaging-based polls today is that they will not generate a representative sample of likely (Republican) primary voters. It’s like using a cell phone in a presidential poll in 1992 or a land-line phone in 1932.
