The Naval Base is totally safe. These fires are in the brush covered foothills East of San Diego.

The only base that could possibly be impacted (at this time)would be MCAS Miramar.... It is west of I15 and East of I5, but it is below the area currently being marked as the evacuation boundary (which is the 56).

MCB Camp Pendleton is on the coast, and a little to the north, in Oceanside. Naval Station San DIego is on the coast, and south of the current fire areas.
