Yes he was pushing the Rudy questions,then he had a total of one for Thompson, and then Romney rounded out a few. He mentioned Huckabee a few times just to add to the list of names. There were 4 who thought Huckabee won the debate...I was one of them. I thought he was strong and clear. But I am sure there will be someone here to tell me how wrong I am on that opinion ;)

I have been on FR since 99...trust me..it’s all talk right now. When the chips are on the table you will see us mount an army against Clinton like you have never seen before. You have to remember that it is the Clinton’s who inspired Jim to start this site to begin with.
Yes. He was very specific on Rudy and pushing him. I would tell you if you were only seeing things at home in the wrong light. I am however not pleased this morning on the Fox editors who chose to edit out a lot of the responses from last night’s q&a that was going on for at least 70 mins.
We will see what else Luntz has to say on Hannity and Colmes tonight when he covers more of last night’s group.

I think it is a northeast/nyc thing. They all have roots in NYC and know Hillary is not a New Yorker and Rudy is centrist enough to swallow voting R.

FoxNews turned this into a Rudy event in less than 8 hours. Is it any wonder that former conservative Hannity is now a shill for Rudy.

i totally agree with you. i have personally observed that those with a nexus to NY/NJ have a much easier time imagining a giuliani presidency. i call it the NJ/NY rudy taint.
Watched the debate - at least parts of it, and it looked like the 4 front runners: RG; MR; DH; & FT were duking it out pretty good. Hillary was a favorite punching bag when it came to health care and the economy.
Huckabee was trying to stay in there, but I think he will turn into the froth of somebody’s wake.
Questions could have been more direct, and more response time on rebuttals would have been nice.
RG was a wind bag - and sucking up to MR.
Mitt looked pretty - and that is all he is good for, because FT was hammering the gay marriage thing in Massachussetts like it was going out of style.

Again, that was off-camera and I would not slander the guy if he didn’t say it. He said it when he was trying to clarify his numbers of moderates and true hardcore conservatives. Only when I said what I said in defense did he say oh relax I was joking.

We have to work at not settling for Rudy but getting the job done right in the primary. But when the chips are down you will see people voting against Hillary more than they are for Rudy.
