Giuliani's persuasive reply? The direct result of his presidency would be strict constructionists on the U.S. Supreme Court -- justices in the mold of Roberts, Scalia and Alito.

See post #11. It's a pro-Roe position.

Absolutely. But it's just enough to peel off a lot of soft pro-life evangelicals. And that is Rudi's objective. By doing so, he forestalls the third-party thing, isolates Dobson and his influence, and has a good chance of picking up at least half of all of us who are swearing we'll never vote for him even in the general.

Don't underestimate him. He's a calm cool calculator, an expert at divide and conquer. And he has an expert campaign team, and much like Bush in 2000, he is relentlessly disciplined and commits very few actual errors. You'll notice that Hitlery is visibly copying Bush's 2000 campaign too. That's because it works.

Anyone who thinks Rudi can't possibly get the nomination is fooling themselves. We've got to have one or more major candidates come out swinging against him. It wouldn't hurt to have a new scandal or two. Especially something that would spike his numbers in Florida.

If we're going to stop him, we have to do it in Florida or before Florida.
