Nothing new here. The basic technique of the KGB was to fan third-world hatred of the United States as a colonial power, even though the US has hardly ever been a colonial power. Radical nationalism was the method most widely used.
What’s true of the Muslim world is also true of Africa and South America. The Communists have never stopped stirring up hatred and resentment of the U.S.
And they have managed to get the European Socialists on their side as well. Europe was chiefly guilty of colonial exploitation of the third world, but somehow or other they have managed to blame it on us. Some of it was relatively benevolent colonialism (England); but much of it was malevolent and exploitive (most notoriously Belgium, but also Germany and France).
What goes around comes around. It was the Germans who put Lenin on that train and sent him into Russia. And it was Germany that produced Karl Marx. The disease of exploitive revolutionary progressivism goes back a long way, perhaps to the French Revolution.
Read'im and weep.
