It is so sad that more people watch a baseball game then a debate on the future of this country. Even on a conservative website, there are two to three times the number of posts for a game then a debate.

Fred did good today, better than his last performance. I am sick of Hannity and his Rudy love fest. I hope nanny stater tax and spender Huckabee isn’t the real sleeper.

I don’t know you yet you believe in the Conservative party. It’s a little way off until we decide. :^)

Well, the reality is that most of the time these aren’t debates. they are one upmanship contests and jockeying for the best soundbite. Under the circumstances, why should people watch the debates? I haven’t watched one yet. I’ve caught a few online vids and read some transcripts though.

i do think you have a responsibility to learn about the candidates and not let someone else tell you about them. But to do that you don’t actually have to watch a debate. Now, tonight, i would have liked to have seen strong viewer turnout just because someone, in this case Fred, finally listed Rudy’s long liberal record and rudy had no proper response. And I think it poor planning they chose tonight of all sports nights to hold it.

Other then that, not much was said that couldn’t be gleaned from legislative records, press releases or transcripts.
