Interstate 15 in both directions has been shut down. The northbound 215 has also been shut down at the I-15 interchange. Traffic is backing up keeping emergency personnel from reaching the scene. Firefighters are using surface streets.
18 is still closed going downhill. The fire is being blown down the hill away from most homes. If it crosses 18, It will burn into an area burned by the Old Fire of 2003.
