IMHO - This whole event will go to Critical Mass, if and when the fires close down the I-5 coastal road and/or the fire reaches the city limits of San Diego.

After 48 hours of this event I am concerned that fire fighting resources are stretched to the limit.

I am seeing a lot of “tactical” victories by the brave fire fighters but am concerned about a strategic defeat if the road, power or communications grid is severed.

At least 24 hours more of extreme fire weather await SoCal.

I’m not much of a worrier when it comes to things like this but indeed the next 24 hours could be disastrous. Fires are reaching populated areas and depending on winds and our resources it could be hard to stop..if it hits Tijuana/Otay Mesa area of Mexico it will be out of control imo as they have no where near the resources or communication we have....
