I know it’s not your neighborhood, but the folks at Qualcomm are begging for volunteers (to provide medical assistance, serve breakfast, anything.) The Santiago/Foothill evacuation centers might be able to use the some help, too.
Good news—Bush apparently got the Emergency declaration done and there are 6 big air-tankers on their way today.
I’m in Irvine this a.m. so I’m off to the FD.
Looks like they’re gonna need some help in Santiago/Foothill.
