I recall when my nephew came home from kindergarten he asked me who Richard Stands was. I told him I didn't know anyone named Richards Stands and he then told me he pledged Alliance to him at school every day.

That is when I showed him the you tube of Red Skeleton and what the pledge means.

I also play it every year in my 7th grade social studies class. I figure it is never too late to learn.
