Steaming coil wants to be President. Of the United States.
Not in this life.
Hold your fire folks!
We need Obama around long enough to force Hillary into a nasty primary fight.
That will remind everyone why they hate her and alienate black voters.
Her big challenge is to destroy him without getting her hands dirty. No doubt she can and will destroy him; the key is to do so without harming her campaign. Her best hope is that conservatives will “Swiftboat” him. That way, he leaves the scene, she can blame us and rally Obama’s supporters to her campaign.
If Oprah and the Hollywood crowd weren’t dropping so much on Obama, I might’ve had to send him a check!
Obama = big bag of nothing.
We don’t know the context of the photo — whether Obama raised his hand to his left chest a second later, etc. And I’m more interested in his policy positions than his choice of accessories.
I’m not that eager to defend Barack. I won’t vote for him. But if this kind of silly s—t is going to set the tone for the campaign this early, that’s a blade that swings both ways. We’re dealing with too many real dangers to obsess over a hand gesture or a lapel pin.
he’s a piece of work.
...and he’s running for President? Good grief. Shameful.
For a politician to fail to put their hand over their heart during the national anthem is a real faux pas. But I can see some ordinary person making that error, especially if they are in front, as in the picture, and do not see the example set by others. I say keep an eye on the guy. If he keeps it up, then he is either deaf to American conventions, or he is dissing America.
I recall Gore reversed the American motto. He was either not-so-bright, or he was signaling his acceptance of multiculturalism and rejection of America as we have known it.
