Rooty Toot IS NOT "good enough." In fact, he is the worst possible GOP nominee.
Last I checked no one has voted in a Primary yet, thus there are no nominees yet.
Even the "worst" GOP nominee is better than letting Hillery Clinton get back into the White House. If that ends up being Guliani, so be it.
BTW, a candidate becomes the Party nominee by the majority of Party members (in significant early Primary states) voting for them. Whoever that is, thus has the backing of the majority of Republican voters in those Primaries.
If you want to ensure that isn't one particular candidate, I would suggest working hard to convince a lot of voters to back a different candidate. Complaining about things never got anyone elected. Staying home only gets the opposition elected.
