Whether you can “tolerate” it or not, It happened in ‘92, ‘96, ‘06 even in 2000 when the DUI cast doubt on G.W.B’s credibility and let us not forget the last admitted pro choice Republican gerald ford who lost to Jimmy Carter. the last democrat to get over 50% of the vote.
Either help get a conservative through that primary, or get used to tolerating enough of the base staying at home again. that or finding another option.
That was exactly my point. The solution is in the primaries. When we get to the general election is where we disagree. Any party will lose if they have a faction, any faction, that stays home. As to the general election and folks not voting for a RINO I would suggest it is counter productive to the pro life movement in that there will be several Supreme Court justices appointed during the next term. Even a Rudy appointment will be better than a Clinton appointment. If faced with the choice of either Rudy or Hillary a vote for Rudy will save more lives than a protest vote.

I would be that each and every one of us could get a pro-life conservative candidate in the White House. And in the Senate. And in the House of Representatives.
We can’t wait for our precinct captains to come around with literature. Friend to friend is still the most powerful ammo out there for the voting process. We have to start talking about it to our friends.
And how wonderfully glad I was that another friend approached me in the church parking lot last Sunday with a petition for our congressman. People were standing in line to sign the petition!
