The lesser of two evils is still evil.
That's a saying for children, not politics. First, unless you're running for office yourself, you're always going to disagree with one of the candidates on something, and that means every election is a choice between two "evils." Second, one could say that if a ship is struck by a torpedo and several sailors are killed ny the explosion, that's an "evil." Sending damage control parties to stop the sea from coming in through the hole would be the lesser of two evils. So what kind of dumb bunny says "I won't send the damage control parties, because I refuse to choose the lesser of two evils"?
