Not you, as you would rather let a Dem win knowing it will mean the deaths of countless unborn children while that Dem is in office.

Not Dem, liberal. When pro-abortion liberal faces pro-abortion liberal, unborn children lose, and the party affiliation does not matter.

“Yes, I would rather see a pro-abortion Democrat win over a pro-abortion Republican.

Now hit the abuse button and report me to the Mods.”

Buzz off.

Something both sides of this debate can agree on.

I'm sure some would disagree, just out of spite. ;)

ROFL. Moderates would just vote for the Democrat & there's no way in hell social conservatives and libertarians are going to vote for an liberal authoritarian POS like Rudy. Fiscal conservatives (Wall Street types) may vote for Rudy, but their votes will be for naught as the 3rd party candidate siphon off votes from all around.

I've asked you before, where is your evidence this will happen. None of your "its just common sense" nonsense you pull from who knows where, but actual facts. Show me one expert in the field or analyst or somebody that actually agrees with your assertion.

"Sorry but if you really don’t know, I don’t have the time to explain it."

That is probably because you can't explain it. The constitution does not give the president any powers in this area. The courts have ruled that abortion is an domain that is beyond the reach of the federal government. The popular interpretation is that it is a "privacy" issue, but what the ruling really said is that the federal government has no rights to get involved in it. The only thing a president can do is to appoint judges who will strictly interpret the constitution. What this effectively means is that abortion will become a states issue.

What you appear to be telling us is that you are OK with a POTUS that would appoint judges who would legislate from the bench if it supported your personal agenda. Is this right? Rudy has already pledged many times that he will only appoint strict constructionist judges leaving the abortion issue to what is written and not written into the constitution.

You’re a bully, aren’t you. Can’t fight your own fights, so you enlist the mods to come to your aid. A complete bully. Are you proud of yourself? Maybe it is you and your comments that ought to be reviewed. I am stating the truth, that under a Dem Admin more babies will remain unborn. Refute it with facts, not bullying, if you are capable of it. In fact, forget it. I don’t like bullies and our conversation is over, because it is impossible to have a discussion with someone who has a single point of view and no others allowed but your own. Good nite and don’t reply to me in the future as I will not reply to you. Bullies are not the kind of people I want to have to deal with in life.

I realize as many of you on this thread do, that R.Guilliani is not exactly what we as Republicans desire as our candidate. However, if by chance he is nominated what are you all going to do?

I am pro life and pray this abomination ends and ends soon. However, if Rudy is the choice and I pray this is not our choice, but what if it is, then what?

a) stay at home and not vote?

b) vote Democratic?

c) leave the USA?

d) write one in (which never counts)?

We as a people could put a lot of pressure on him if he is the nomination.

All I know is that MS. Clinton cannot win the election! Not this time not ever!

if Hillary wins, she will lose after 4 years of failed policies. If Rudy wins, he will be the default nominee for the next election. That’s 8 years of pro-abortion and the GOP will no longer be known as the pro-life party in the future.

About two years from now, if Hillary wins because you anti-Rudy people didn’t vote, then hop back on a thread similar to this one and explain yourself. And after Hitlery has been in office for 4-8 years, let’s check out the before and after statistics on the abortion rates under her regime. Explain that too.
-
We’re not going to vote for hillary. Those that vote for her will be accountable for the abortions under her watch. Those that vote for rudy will be accountable for the abortions under his watch.

I wish there were no abortions...BUT I LIVE IN THE REAL WORLD.

Evidently, during the entirety of the nearly two full centuries spanning the gulf between 1776 and 1973, the United Staes was NOT, contrary to popular belief, a part of "the real world."

Fancy that.

I’m trying to figure out what your agenda is, because it CANNOT be to win people over to the pro-life cause. Your behaviour is repellent and you are swaying no one.

In all the time I've been posting here, few FReepers have proven themselves either as rigorous or (ultimately) as genuinely persiasive in their support of an intellectually sustainable pro-life position as has wagglebee.

I’m glad you said all this Leni, now I don’t have to.
We saw just how well dropping out worked last year anyone who thinks that is the answer against a socialist opposition is just wrong.
