NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."

Agree.

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.

‘We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life.’ —Ronald Reagan

Jim, and those that chose to follow your lead, count me as one of those that will not vote for Giuliani.

Thus far I’m with FDT. Keep up the good works Jim and thank you once again for your leadership and a great forum.

The majority of Americans are pro-life. If we will vote with that conviction and get folks in ALL offices who will confirm people to the Supreme Court that will, like Antonin Scalia, note with their votes the unconstitutionality and downright atrocious nature of someone killing an unborn child, we can right this wrong. We will not right it if in the face of a mere woman, evil as she is, we choose to drop all conviction and go the “pragmatic” course. This shows no depth of conviction and no faith in God to heal us when we obey.

It makes you wonder a bit about some of the people who are pushing it, doesn’t it? I know if I were a leftist, I’d be sowing these seeds quite a bit, what a beautiful way to secure control of the country for the dems forever. Beautiful.

Between Hillary and Rudy? I don’t see a difference.

******************************************************
With a Rudy presidency maybe the unborn will not be in less danger, but with Hillary, I’m also concerned with the danger to the lives of the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents of the unborn. Real danger and a lot of ground to make up.

It is my hope that the percent Giuliani has in the polls is the percent of the Republican Party that doesn’t share you view. That makes him the leader in a field of seven or eight but won’t work in a field of two or three.

If he doesn’t dominate the early primaries when the field is crowded, I don’t see him winning states when the race has whittled down to the last few choices. I think the social conservative wing of the party is more than the 25-29% that Giuliani attracts.

Point well taken.

But I will never lower my personal moral standards to vote for Rudy.

Thats just the way it is.

Jim, I’d like to make a personal request. FReeper NapkinUser was a huge help in exposing Rudy back in the spring. Now I don’t know what he did on the Paul threads, but IMO he doesn’t deserve to be banned. Please reinstate his posting privileges.

That’s so on target that if anyone bothers to read it, it has to hurt their minds.

I stated in an earlier post that if people are really concerned about reducing/ eliminating abortions, they’d spend some effort on effective measures & change the hearts of their fellow Americans.

It is very good to see this thread. It’s as if FreeRepublic needs to be awakened (with a kick to the butt) every so often during election season.

Anything that would alloy a Hillary presidency, if it could be prevented, is also a lowering of moral standards.

If one pays with one’s life for a worthy cause (principle, as you put it), it still is necessary to have life in order to forfeit it.

Life is the very essence of being—after that, to be free, to have values and principles, and even to die, in order that those same values and principles may be preserved for others, STILL requires life in order to be exercised.

I am quite sure you can see the logic of that, olde north church.

I understand the difference between a conscious decision to sacrifice and being a murder victim. There is also the uncomfortable position of innocent bystander.

Was EVERY individual resident of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, or Dresden a supporter of the government with which we were at war? I would venture a guess the answer would be no. But as far as I'm concerned they could have added 15 or 20 more cities to the list just for good measure and I wouldn't have shifted in my sleep.

That being said, I'm against abortion for the same reason I think we should have invaded China regarding Tianammen Square. You have a policy, you enforce that policy. You stand for liberty and freedom or you don't stand for liberty and freedom.

My point was simply this, there are various circumstances in which life, although desirable, may not always be most important condition.

If Rooty Toot is the GOP nominee, Hitlery WILL be POTUS>

It is Rooty's supporters, NOT those of us who oppose him that are working for a Clinton victory. It is the Rooty Rooters who are betraying the Republican Party and the American people.

With God, all things are possible.

We have to be willing to be His tools, though, and sow seeds of truth.
