"I speak for at least half the people here, including the Founder Jim Robinson, who has stated he will not vote for Giuliani under any circumstance."

Agree.

NOTHING IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE

Don't Cut and Run, vote pro-life every time. It's the way you always win.

‘We cannot diminish the value of one category of human life — the unborn — without diminishing the value of all human life.’ —Ronald Reagan

Then what's the difference between Rudy and one of your Pol's who says he'll make Pro-life part of his litmus test?

Because the politicians I vote for have proven pro-life records, Rooty Toots openly supports abortion (and my suspicion is that a majority of the Rooty Rooters support abortion as well).

No. I am saying that the WH is job title that requires more then the mind frame of one-issue thinking. The job of the WH is much larger than the issue of abortion.

Furthermore, those who believe litmus tests should be on our judges regarding abortion are wrong... The only litmus test should be will you uphold the laws of this nation / constitution....WITHOUT interjecting your own opinion or politics.

That is an unintelligible statement. IOW, off the wall.

Either you support the sanctity of life, or you don't.

I'm not about to vote for a liberal to appease you and others like you.

What a selfish rat you are.

John Q Adams told me to stand up on principle!

A dem Congress (and we will be losing seats this election) and a Hillary president? There might not be a country to save after 8 years.

We survived 8 years of Slick, didn't we? This without the blogs, Internet, FR, etc.

And you willing to take that chance makes me say again that you and people like you are NOT PATRIOTS.

I ain't voting for no Fruity if he's the nominee, forget it! Those who say that I'm helping to elect Hillary can kiss my behind.

If I may take a phrase from the day: you're PHONY PATRIOTS...you can't be a patriot and believe the whole country rests on one issue.

You're the phony patriot, not me. I ain't scared of Hillary like you guys are, hiding under your blankets with the light on and crap.

If he had some special qualifications to be president, I might overlook my suspicion that he's another Larry Craig and that Hillary's thugs are going to expose him after he gets the nomination.

But I don't see any special qualifications. What are you seeing there that's so damned special?

There is a difference between supporting abortion...and saying it doesn't belong in the federal govt's hands.

I doubt very much Rudy supports "abortions" (the act itself). Though he may support the notion that it is not the federal govt's role (or courts) to regulate it. Perhaps giving it back to the States to decide individually.

The WH is a job title that requires a larger mind frame then simply tying oneself to a one-issue voting base. Especially understanding that the pro-life side is winning. Facts, education and technology are all pushing the tide for the pro-life'ers.

Rudy agrees with conservative judges on the whole. That he may differ on the issue of abortion is immaterial on the whole.

If he had some special qualifications to be president

Mayor of New York City easily qualifies one for president. It is a job that is harder than most governorships and even running most countries. There is a reason it is referred to as the second hardest job in America. This says nothing about the positions of someone that has been NYC mayor, but they are nonetheless very qualified.

you can't be a patriot and believe the whole country rests on one issue.

No, it rests on "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness." Without LIFE the other two will eventually disappear, which I suppose is the ultimate goal of you and your liberal ilk.

>>>>>Your suggested progress is all window dressing provided by the politicians to pander for your votes.

You're pathetic!

Anytime, anyone stands up for the sanctity of life, they'll get my vote. Reagan was pro-life. He got my vote. Fred is pro-life. He wants an end to Roe v Wade and abortion on demand abolished as the national policy of the US government. That is something I can wholeheartedly support.

Sound position - I'd suggest Rudy has actually run something. He has actual had to be a leader, an actual decision maker! - Compared to the DEM alternatives, right there, that makes him special.

I've never said Rudy's "my man/candidate" - But I understand the seriousness of what is facing our next POTUS/CinC....and we cannot allow the ilk of the Democrat party in that position.

I clearly understand Rudy would be without question the correct choice (on the whole) for this nation over the Democrat candidate. Full stop.

I’m with you, if you mean Rudy > Hillary/ Obama/ Edwards, yes.

No way I’m voting for Rudy in the primary.

I doubt very much Rudy supports "abortions" (the act itself).

He is on record as saying he would pay for his daughter to get one, as president he would try to get the American taxpayers for them.

The WH is a job title that requires a larger mind frame then simply tying oneself to a one-issue voting base.

Agreed, Rooty Tooty showing up at Ground Zero on 9/11 is "one issue" so he should just drop out now.

The changes will have to be gradual with broad support including across the aisle.

Calling people names has not worked. “Carrying the fight” has not worked.

Just look at the results after 34 years. Paltry to no real change has been the rule. Even by those “pro-life” politicians who seem to get religion just before every election.

As a beginning, go across the aisle and try to make the law of the land require fetal sonograms required and available to all planning to abort their child. Then add one day of waiting before permitting the procedure. Primates visually seek out others and are reinforced and identify with others. This is why this will work. Appeal to the better angels of human nature rather than worst also underlies this principle.

People, and especially potential mothers, basically believe they are removing jello from their womb. This is a good first step and one that would likely work. it is also consistent with "Casey" SCOTUS decision.

It cannot work, if you demonize anyone who differs with your opinion; they may be your allies in gradually reducing the number of abortions. Immediately criminalizing 1,000,000 women a year (approx no abortions) is not going to happen in Congress or SCOTUS. Other than discharging emotion, trying to achieve this criminalization has no real workable goal.
