1) Because they call themselves law enfocement... rather than rights enforcement... as the Constitution says they should be.

2) Because they care only about enforcing laws, many of which violate the Constitution... which they swore to uphold... which they seem to care nothing about.

3) Because I know what the Constitution says (which they apparently don't... nor do they even care... which is the really scary part).

4) Because they serve corrupt political leaders rather than the people.

5) Because they are mercenaries helping corrupt politicians destroy liberty and freedom in America, slowly turning America into a police state... not unlike Russia.

6) Because, more often than not, their mentalities are identical to the KGB mentality.

7) Because they place little or no value on human life... as GovernmentShrinker so eloquently pointed out with this comment:

My last encounter with LEO still gives me the shivers. I was parked, after dark, in a well lit parking lot of a public park where the municipality had deployed glass recycling bins. I was recycling bottles when I was approached by a young officer who was holding his hand on his gun, demanding to know what I was doing there. I told him politely and with a straight face that I was recycling some bottles. He told me that I couldn’t be there after dark - I said I didn’t realize that, (the park is a venue for many concerts, fireworks, and other occasions that last until well after dark). "It's right on the sign!" said he. Luckily, he let me go on my way, peacefully.
