I was in Marine Corps from 1981 to 1985 and stationed at Camp Pendleton for much of that time. Cammies were not allowed off base back then so I don't understand the controversy.

I do remember going to Hill Street in Oceanside and after having way too much to drink, we'd go to the Wienerschnitzel and get a bag of chili dogs to offset our pending hangover the next day. They were open until something like 3am!
