Romney has taken an interesting tack. Rather than lying or obfuscating about past positions, he admits he was once wrong on the issue.

That’s probably the best thing to do. And, in all fairness, since he handled it that way I can see myself voting for him if he’s our candidate.

I grew up with parents who thought they were very progressive, with mom thinking NOW was the hottest thing going. So, I thought it wasn’t my right to tell another woman not to abort, regardless of my feeling that it’s wrong.

I am SO over that!

That scares me, especially from a supposed Mormon. I don't like mormonism but I respect their moral teaching. It smacks of political expediency that he 'once was wrong' about the issue now that people are telling him a run for prez would be unsuccessful because the rest of the US (outside of librull Massumchoosetssss) has a grasp on morality that stays the same regardless of political circumstance.
