Every dollar that was bid, every call that was made to Rush, every sentiment expressed both monetarily and personally were repudiations of Reid, not gratuities to Reid. He is again demonstrating that the democrat mind cannot see the truth, even when it is explained to him.
Where are the Republicans who should be screaming about the dishonest and unethical attempt by Reid to mislead the American people by taking credit that is unquestionably not his. What an incredible lowlife.

Why was Harry Reid saying “Madam President” - was it because some democrat woman senator was temporarily ‘running’ the Senate while Harry was speaking?
I would think this is what it was. He couldn’t be talking about Pelosi because she’s in the House.

Last week at this time, I thought that Rush's idea of auctioning the letter off couldn't get any better.
Then it got better. $2 million for the bid. And then Reid continues to dig his own hole deeper.

If it was such a good and worthy cause why did you wait a week until there were only minutes left to bid to call for support?
Is it because the document is a signed lie intended to silence a broadcaster in a Stalinistic bid to use the power of the Senate as a club?
Senator Reid, you should refrain from using the word “we” as regards this issue, until you write a check for $2,100,100. Then you can say “we”.

32 percent, Harry...that’s how many Nevadans approve of you. Resign already, and stay away from politics for good. Either that or make a fool of yourself for several more years in Congress until you make so much of a fool of yourself that you get voted out.
There’s still 41 letters of resignation that need to be signed. Trying to trump the First Amendment is not a forgiveable accident. The insult is not only to Rush, but to every citizen of this country.
Rush was completely wrong in his interpretation of Reid's speech.
Reid is saying that the reason the auction went to $2 million is because it is his autograph, along with 40 other senators. He is claiming that it is worth $2 million as a piece of Democratic memorabilia.
Reid's "we" did not mean him and Rsh, it meant him and the other 40 Dem senators.
