How exactly does “get abortion out of the federal courts and enact 50 state bans” translate into “President Osama bin Laden will cut the heads off women caught reading?”
-
I want one federal ban protecting all children instead of some babies getting killed because they just happen to be in a state where there is no abortion ban.

If a state has a “Governor Osama” then we need the federal government to protect the people.

This is an abortion thread, why are people bringing up 9-11 and radical Islam?

This is FreeRepublic, why are people attacking Ron Paul on his abortion views?

How about instead of just calling Paul a ‘kook’ or citing what some Paul ‘supporter’ has said you actually give us some logic on why Paul is wrong on his stance?

How about reading the multitude of speeches he has given in front of Congress or the articles he is written on the subject from 1981 on:

If someone told me 5 years ago I’d see people on FR trying to use the Constitution to show why abortion should remain at the federal level I would have laughed in your face. DU I could see but FR...

How many years has Roe v Wade been in effect? How many more years are pro-lifers going to keep dumping money into candidates who are supposedly going to fix this issue? 30, 60, 100 more years?

Ron Paul comes along and tells the nation that Roe v Wade can be thrown out in a fast manner starting with a simple majority vote and we have to try and discredit him on this issue? At least provide us some substance instead of weak interpretations of the 14th amendment, 9-11, name-calling, and referencing what some one who supports someone else says about something.

Is FR is still pro-life and pro-constitution or do we now pick and choose our stance based on the ‘messenger’ instead of the message?
