Even in the aftermath of 9/11, there’s no way Congress would have done that. Instead, the Dhimmicrats have to come out of the closet in opposition to fighting our enemies in each theater opened by the President, either by denigrating our fighting forces or threatening to withhold funding. They’ve lost each and every time, before and after regaining majority.

Bush could have had a declaration of war on 9/12 if he had asked for one. The Dhimmicrats were too intimidated to say no. To publicly fight against such a declaration would have been political suicide for Dhimmicrats. By choosing the weaker of the options Bush brought this on himself.
