Musician spreads message of peace through his songs [HYPER-VOMIT!!!]

Musician Dawud Wharnsby believes everyone has their own way of making a difference in the world.

"Some people are able to donate their money to good causes; some people are able to donate their time," he said. "For me, music and expression through song has always been the tool that I use."

The French Canadian singer-songwriter, who converted to Islam in 1993, on Thursday brought his musical message of peace to the cafetorium at Columbus Manor Elementary School in Oak Lawn, performing guitar and percussion-based songs for the schoolchildren.

"Music has been a crucial part of who I am and how I find peace in my own life," Wharnsby said. "Hopefully, some of that will rub off on the lives of some of the kids who I meet."

Columbus Manor PTA president Merrit Arnold said the performance, paid for by the Bridgeview mosque, was presented in hopes of easing recent tensions between Muslim and non-Muslim parents about including Ramadan on the school's list of observed holidays and the elimination of pork products and Jell-O from the lunch menu.

I’m sure that just like Cat Stevens, this so-called “peace-loving” musician, would support cutting off Salman Rushdie’s head.

Instead of Muslims paying to have Muslims sing about peace to non-Muslims, perhaps they should pay to have Muslims sing about peace to Muslims.

If I was a member of that PTA I would be yelling for a new President as soon as the next meeting started.

Was this that Islamic chant that you hear in all the jihad videos? I thought music with words other than religious chant were forbidden in Islam?

I’m a little stymied about the removal of pork products. Why can’t they just not eat the pork, serve something for them, and let the others have their regular diet.

Pork is a religion in the south, btw, and BBQ is just quintissentially a part of Southern culture.

Muzzies get outraged about Jell-O?

Oh... this gives me ideas...

Ideas that would probably get me the Fatwa I’ve been looking for...

An attempt to lull the enemy into a false hope for peace. Pretty good blog article at americandaily.com that seems relevant to me.

First, remember that Allah permits Muslims to lie to further the Muslim cause of Islam World Rule. Therefore, Muslims will reach out in an appearance of peace in order to lull the enemy into thinking that Muslims are telling the truth. The enemy buys into that reach out and then is taken in by the Allah condoned lie.

Question: What about the kids bringing lunch? Can they still pack ham sandwiches and jello and sit with the muzzies? Or will they be segregated and won’t that be discriminatory on its face?

So will they allow a local church to pay for some Christian performers to sing in the cafeteria?

Did the taxpayer pay for this idiot child? That’s my concern. Muslims are looters and welfare bums so my guess is yes

Jello is made from bone marrow, but I thought it was beef bone marrow, not pig.

Just guessing here- I know that gelatin is rendered from bones so there’s probably pork in the mix there.
