The fact that you’re all goo-goo over an article that repeatedly states how much better Hillary Clinton would be is more than just a little disturbing. I’m starting to think we deserve to lose this election because at least half of us have lost our damned minds.

You are absolutely correct.

Hillary would unite us, and she could be defeated in 4 years

Uh huh. And during those four years, she could appoint four more Ruth Bader Ginsburgs to the Supreme Court. And don't even try to say filibuster. The Democrats running the Senate would roll right over one.

Perfection is not attainable in politics.

A number of us who have voted third party in previous elections have been castigated because we are supposedly thinking as purists rather than pragmatists.

We are constantly begged to vote for the Republican, because the pragmatic thing to do is get the Republican in office and then work within the party to get the Republican office holders to be more conservative.

Well what if it turns out that we third party voters are actually the most pragmatic of all?

If enough of us voted third party, then maybe the Republicans ... and even the Democrats ... would be inspired to move further to the right than the same-old same-old method of sheeple voting for the lesser of two evils.

We deserve to lose this election if the Republican party can't put forth a conservative nominee that can unify the party.

If you don't like that fact, you'd better work harder to assure Giuliani isn't the nominee.

The article has a key point. If Guiliani is elected, he will redefine what it means to be a Republican. Look what has happened with GW. Republicans can no longer claim to be fiscally conservative. At least GW is uneqivocally pro-life.

In order to defeat Hillary, you don’t pick the person right next to her. Republicans started acting like Democrats in 2004-2006 in order to create Karl Rove’s supermajority. They took up healthcare, ditched SS reform, didn’t fight for conservative judges, spent like crazy, tried to give amnesty to illegals.... all Democrat issues, and where did it get them?

You and the rest of your half can find your lost minds in the gutter, until it rains.

"I’m starting to think we deserve to lose this election because at least half of us have lost our damned minds."

You've gotten to that point, have you? Well, so have I. I do think people who are pushing for Ruday have lost their minds --- the question of whether they are damned or not is outside of my jurisdiction.

We will never have the perfect conservative candidate.

If we can’t vote for the republican candidate at least we can place vote against the SheBeast.

It seems that almost all of the time I end up voting to keep the worst choice out of office as opposed to enthusiastically voting for a candidate I like.

Bill Clinton was elected because many voters couldn’t bring themselves to vote for the republican candidate and cast a protest vote for Perot.
Will the SheBeast get elected the same way?

ANYONE BUT HILLARY IN 2008!!!!!
