BTW... How do Spiderman 1, 2, and 3 look on HD DVD? Oh yeah... that is another deadly weakness of HD DVD... No Snow White... No Mickey Mouse... at least you do have Transformers to watch... but then it is a truncated offering... but you can buy Transformer marketed products online with that nifty interactivity thing.

These hysterical rantings are usually made by teen-age boys. They repeat half truths as fact, take pieces of technical knowledge know by everyone and extrapolate them into modern myth.
They don’t know the difference between business and bribery and if you don’t agreee with them they will call YOU a fanboy, even if you own the same system they do! I like my blu-ray player, AND my HD-DVD player.

MicroSatan controls my “vertical” and “horizontal” and I’m a “cheerleader” for HD-DVD even though I own and like blu-ray as well as HD-DVD.
Cheerleading fanboy says that the HD-DVD exclusive release of Transformers is “crippled” because it doesn’t have a True-HD soundtrack, it has a Dolby Digital Plus soundtrack which most everyone has actually been blown away by, but it’s “crippled”. Total Fanatacism
I own BOTH formats, he owns ONE, it’s not good enough that I own and enjoy the format he ADORES. Since I bought the other HD Format as well for my 60 and 55 inch TV’s to enjoy EVERY HD MOVIE AVAILABLE, I am “brainwashed” by microsoft.

The fanboy is usually between 13-23 (any older is a tragedy) and reading their rantings will provide hours of amusement if you know what you’re looking for.
Most (not all, both sides have them) are blu-ray fanboys because the PS3 can play blu-rays, so they have a blu-ray player and probably can’t afford to buy an HD-DVD player or their parents wont let them have one.
If the fanboy is an adult, this is a case of “Star Wars” syndrome, a new obsession to geek over and forget that there are women on the planet.
Do not let the fan boy stop you from buying either/both a blu-ray player or an HD-DVD player, they are both great Hi-Def movie formats as MOST EVERY RATIONAL person agrees.
You can’t go wrong with either, I suggest you buy both.
