If I were a betting man, I'd bet you are right.

If I were forced to choose a winner, I'd pick Blu Ray.

Bottom line is that even if or when one emerges as a winner, the market saturation at this point is so much that it will take at least 10 years for the other to go away.

Up until three years ago, we didn't own a DVD player and were watching movies on VHS. We're still watching movies on VHS. Players in dual format are still being manufactured and sold . . . and what are we now . . . over a decade after the first standard DVD was sold?
