The current rent in One Dollar per year!
I am not sure the Scouts need to be 200k a year but One Dollar is ridiculous. The Scouts do not need to be receiving Welfare from the city. Raise the rent.

Did you miss the fact, that although the city owns the land, the scouts built the building in 1928, in return for the $1 year rent?

Our Kool-Aid drinking free traders missed that key issue -- as they do so many-- like this one:

They should relocate to a friendlier community and let Philly continue to rot.

The reason they call it Boy Scouts is because the people they serve are boys-- boys who are stuck in Philadelphia by circumstances of their family's living arrangements and, thus, unable to relocate anywhere.

Yes, I'd like the city out of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. But I'd like even better to remove the vermin infesting the city so it would become liveable again.

What the B.S.A. should do is bring a discrimination and breach of contract lawsuit, for starters. It sounds like they have grounds for both.

I didn't know that. So, the city is breaking its agreement with the Boy Scouts because city officials are intolerant toward the BSA's religious views.

What a revolting hell hole Philadelphia has become.
