This is the first time I've posted anything, so forgive me for whatever mistakes I make. Yesterday on FR, several articles appeared about the passage of SB 777 in California. I joined the organization, and received the following e-mail from them. "Last fall California families were disappointed by the defeat of such important ballot initiative as Proposition 85, protecting parental authority in confidential medical services, and Proposition 90, protecting churches from eminent domain abuse. As California's premiere pro-family public policy organization, CRI was greatly restricted in our activities promoting such vital family-related issues due to our C(3) non-profit tax status. Recognizing that the threat to families will only increase in the coming years, we made the decision to found a C(4) non-profit organization that will significantly expand our advocacy on behalf of California families. Thus, Capitol Resource Family Impact was born. Now, CRFI has announced the launch of our new SB 777 Referendum web site: www.saveourkids.net.
The interactive site will serve as the online headquarters for the referendum campaign. Volunteers and donors will find information about SB 777's attack on traditional family values, a section on Frequently Asked Questions, petitions to print and distribute (petitions will be available shortly) and breaking news from the campaign.

"The response to our referendum has been so overwhelming that we needed an online center to distribute information and gather support," explained CRFI executive Director Karen England. This will be defeated. Then Businesses will have to fork over for seperate bathrooms.
Don't be so sure. There are enough evangelical churches alone to qualify a referendum for the ballot.

The homosexuals have gone way too far with this one. Everyone I know in our neighborhood is outraged and is going to fight this thing. We will not allow these freaks to indoctrinate and sexualize our young kids. The fact that Schwartzaneggar is not opposing this is beyond disgusting.

Let’s get some support going for this Referendum and kill this thing!
Governor Schwarzenegger signed the outrageous SB 777, legislation that bans “promoting a discriminatory bias” against homosexual, transsexuals, bisexuals and transgenders in public schools. As pro-family groups have explained, this new law will result in reverse discrimination against religious students and students with traditional family values. Capitol Resource Family Impact filed a referendum to prevent the implementation of SB 777. CRFI is calling on every concerned citizen to join them in this huge undertaking.

best solution is to get social conservative democrats elected. There are people who are not economic conservatives or people who are not raised to vote Republican at all.
Thats what I said to Randy Thomasson when he gave me his mobile phone number to call him back. I told him in my district people will not vote Republican no matter if its a liberal or a conservative who is well financed or not, and you would have better success trying to build a morally conservative Democratic party caucus.
In my area, there was a former state senator Ruben Ayala who was a prime example of socially conservative Democrat.
If the social conservatives want to take back AD 61 in 2010 when Nell Soto is termed out, get a social conservative Democratic party assembly member.

The solution is for government schools to get MUCH worse. It like having an alcoholic in the family. Sometimes the best thing for all involved is to hit rock bottom.
The government schools are run by god-less Marxists who hide under the name of liberal, leftist, progressive, socialist, humanist,,,etc. And,,,remember! It is ··impossible!··to reform the devil.

The best thing to do is remove your own children. Do what ever it takes to make that happen. Encourage your neighbors, friends, and family to do the same. Then join with other voters to elect representatives who will work to SHUT DOWN completely the government school system.

All that is needed is for PARENTS to get involved and shut down these indoctrination camps by not letting their kids attend, and en masse. That would fix these socialist carpetbaggers and start a good fight over taxation for schools. THAT is what is needed. Most of the parents either do not care, or do not realize how much power they carry.

Trying to reform the god-less Marxists who rule the government schools is impossible. It is as impossible to the schools as it would be to reform the devil.
What is needed here is complete collapse and starting over.
Government schools need two things: Students and money. We MUST starve them of both.
Remove your own kids.
Encourage others to do the same.
Elect conservative representatives as Munson suggested. Whether they are Democrats or Republicans.

I don’t understand the naivete. They are already doing this overtly and covertly. SB 777 just rationalizes and brings into the open current practice in the schools and brings in a few new things that will create chaos in the bathrooms and cause the number of sex-related lawsuits to explode. BUT, government schools across the country, and especially in CA, have been “indoctrinating and sexualizing” children for at least 2 decades. And, it is not just the homosexuals.
Here is the definition of “gender” (Section 210.7) in SB 777:
210.7. “Gender” means sex, and includes a person’s gender
identity and gender related appearance and behavior whether or not
stereotypically associated with the person’s assigned sex at birth.
This provision, coupled with Section 220, gives legal rights to all “sexual minorities” - transgendered, transexual, transvestites, etc.
This will lead to lawsuits, but children in CA have not only been taught to accept these behaviors for years, they’ve been taught that these lifestyles might be fun.
