US President George W. Bush said Wednesday that he had warned world leaders they must prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons "if you're interested in avoiding World War III."
"We've got a leader in Iran who has announced that he wants to destroy Israel," Bush said at a White House press conference after Russia cautioned against military action against Tehran's supect atomic program.

Russia backs Iran nuclear rights

Bush has done two things right: tax cuts and keeping at war with the Islamos. But, his arrogance about illegal immigration, Mexican and UN kow towing, his apparent cloning of his father’s moderate stances on leftist policies has undercut his value as our leader nowadays. He has singlehandly diminished the GOP as an effective Party and opponent of the socialist pacifists. With only a few months left, he simply cannot be expected to put much fear in the hearts of the Iranians, Putin, China or any threat to American sovereignty. Frankly, though I voted for him twice, I will be glad to see him depart for Crawford.
I’m surprised Israel hasn’t struck Iran yet. Especially after the supposed success of the Syrian strike. Even if they just hit a few of the Iranian sites, it would put them back in their development. I’m thinking a strike could come any day.
Wah.....bump
You are exactly right. The world is standing with their heads in the sandpile as the rise of Religious Nazism goes forward unchecked. It happened before, but, but, history never repeats itself.
Yep, Israel did the world a favor once by taking out Saddam’s nuclear capability. Will they do so again?
The last time Israel did such an act they were condemned by the UN, the media, and many pro-terrorists countries. Which side are the progressive liberals on?
I am thinking along the same lines.
Watch oil prices soar if it happens or the talk escalates.
We are paying a war/conflict premium already and it keeps going up.
Bush knows what $100 oil will do to his economy. That is probably the only restraint that delays action. how long are we goint to wait? The price of oil will go up anyhow so we just as well take care of business. Take the economic hit and then settle back down when oil prices stabilize back to the $50.00 range.
