It is pathetic how this "reporter" treated this law-abiding ciziten, who has gone thru hell defending his property and life from thugs. She is nothing more than a left-wing puppet, who is spewing hate at this man for using a firearm in a legal and effective manner to defend his life and property. This kind of behavior from the pompous media needs to be checked. We at Free Republic have that responsibilty to let her and her studio know that her actions do not come without consequences.

Here's her website:

Feel free to tell Rebecca Aguilar how you feel about her story. She welcomes comments.

She says so herself:

"So don't hestitate to call me (214-720-3261) or e-mail me at rebecca.aguilar@foxtv.com if you think you have a story!"

I’m HTML challenged, so if someone wants to fix the link to the video and her email, that would help out. Thanks.

I love this guy. Did you hear what he said at the beginning of the clip.

“Its a new shotgun. I’d hate to have to use it already.”

I love this guy! He should run for President. Texas size juevos.

The police said he broke no laws, then why was the case turned over to a grand jury?

That moron of a reporter would feel a lot differently if her own home was robbed. But, like all leftists, she’s incapable of true empathy — she’s too focused on herself.

Harrassed? I should think so. He’s putting a serious dent in the Democrat’s base.

In Texas, they always turn the information over to the grand jury who can then rule on the case.
Standard operating procedure when a death is involved.
But BANG, good shoot!!!

Not really, he merely moved two voters to the Deceased-American voting demographic.

The DA's running all of the justifiable shootings through the Grand Jury. So far, no charges have resulted from the procedure. It gives the prosecutor some cover, although the current DA probably doesn't need any.

A frail old man has killed two bad guys from the area on two recent occasions, and the reporter seems totally unconcerned about his safety, or repercussions from the bad guys friends. I wonder how she treats victims of sexual assault? ============================================================ Image and video hosting by TinyPic

In Texas, they always turn the information over to the grand jury who can then rule on the case.

It is almost a certainty that the grand jury will find no criminal fault with Mr. Walton (the shop owner). Therefore having this ruled on by a grand jury will serve to strengthen the rights of citizens to protect themselves and their property by establishing precedent for future cases.

The police seem to back up the legitimacy of the shootings and should have a pretty strong effect on the grand jury, as illustrated in this quote from the Dallas/Ft. Worth CBS News affiliate:

"People have the right to defend their property and their own life," said Dallas Police Sergeant Andrew Harvey. "We'll refer to the grand jury and make sure they hear [the case]."

Feeeeelings
Oh oh oh oh feeeelings

What does that mean, "even"? If this guy thinks he could use a better weapon than he had last time, he's the one in a position to know. With the runaway price of metal these days, anybody running a scrapyard needs the best security available.
