There were a number of stories about Tsongas being a less than effective candidate and that Democrat bigwigs like Bill Clinton had to fly in to campaign for her. There’s been mumblings that she might be in trouble.

No surprise the leftist AP would call it for the rodent before they’re done counting. I see no percentage to accompany that figure. It looks like it’s about 65-70% of the precincts.

At the very least, Jim Ogonowski is our Paul Hackett.

He won’t be able to overcome that figure. If the % holds, my figure that he’d win 45% would be off by a single percent. A disappointing margin for the rodents in a heavy rodent district, and a narrow victory for moonbat hate.

Yeah. Looks like the margin may be as close as the Hackett race was. Still, think the MSM will say this close race portends trouble for the Democrats come 2008? Heh heh.

er, scratch that, darn. But it’s not over quite yet. Even if Tsongas wins, it will still be close.

I think that this shows, more than anything else, the effectiveness of the border security issue. If it can make headway in MA, it’s a winning issue everywhere.

I agree. I wasn’t expecting a win here, but at least we tried. 46% is a good showing for the GOP in MA.

Thank you for keeping me informed. It looks like we lost this one but we can hold our heads high tonight still.
BTW, why do democrats always take the lead at the end?
To: Norman Bates
Don’t know.
I still haven’t lost all hopes of ousting John Kerry in 2005. He’s also not a popular figure there.

Better than I had hoped. Much better.
Onward to Louisiana on Saturday.

Yup. And hopefully we’ll pick off some vulnerable statewide rodents, too (and pick up one or both of the legislative bodies for the first time in over 135 years).
