After the national elections, out of respect for the political process.

Whether or not the rest of the world believes that presidents of the Church are "Prophets, Seers, and Revelators," it amounts to apostasy for a Church member to declare, referring to then-President Benson and other General Authorities, that "these people have taken members of the church down the path that is the wrong path..."

However, it will be his stake president and not the General leadership of the Church who will decide when and if Reid will face a local Church disciplinary council. Any action, if any, relative to Reid's membership in the Church will be decided by the stake president -- in consultation with his counselors and the twelve members of the stake high council...

I don't think the current prophet has the bollocks to do that. He's really into marketing, not deep doctrine (per his words).

If I were a Mormon I would be pretty frustrated with the current leadership's go-along-get-along attitude. It seems the only way you can get kicked out is to marry two women.

They need their version of the Panzer Pope.
